Employment Law Advice Session: Dignity At Work
2 March 2010
In association with womenintechnology.
Bullying and harassment in the workplace is a serious issue. It can be damaging to individuals and costly for companies; ranging from increased absence in the workforce to full-blown legal proceedings. Implementing and communicating policies and procedures to promote dignity at work is essential if the risk is going to be managed effectively.
This employment law advice session will cover the legal and HR issues involved with bullying, harassment and discrimination within the workplace; potential costs to an employer and how to implement change.
This session will be presented by Gareth Kervin (Partner/Director, Kervin & Barnes Solicitors) and is designed to:
- Provide an over-view of the legal framework
- Look at the costs of failure
